When I went to the Enmore a few weeks ago I was at the front of GA and the sound quality was bad because there were no front monitors. The Newtown Precinct is well served by public transport with both trains and buses, late into the evening. 
I'd probably recommend standing tickets at the Enmore - the seats are a bit cramped. Since the inception of theatre, there have been influences from different cultures that prompted the theatre of old to grow.
